Patient Care Services
Kindred Hospitals use a multidisciplinary team approach to care that helps our patients return to the highest quality of life possible. Our areas of patient care services include:
Medically Complex Care/Acute Rehabilitation
The Medically Complex/Acute Rehabilitation Program is suited for patients who have completed their acute hospital stay but still require acute care services. This program specializes in pulmonary and acute rehabilitation with the goal of transitioning patients to a less intensive level of care. Services include: ventilator support/weaning and wound management.
Pulmonary Care
After a serious illness or injury, many patients rely on ventilator support and find themselves in a fragile respiratory condition that requires state-of-the-art interventions. Kindred Hospital Northeast - Natick Ventilator Support and Pulmonary Care Services offer a full spectrum of services, individually developed, to achieve the highest level of independence possible for the patient and family. These programs assist in the gradual decrease in dependency and possible termination of ventilation reliance.
Short-Term Rehabilitation
Whether you are recovering from a stroke, heart surgery, multiple traumas or other major illness, Kindred Hospital Northeast - Natick's Short-Term Rehabilitation Program provides the comprehensive medical and rehabilitative care you need in order to return home. Everyone’s situation is unique and recovery times may vary. Our interdisciplinary staff develops a unique care plan geared to each patient’s individual needs.
